Agent Orange

During the Vietnam war in time periods 1961 to 1971. The U.S had a Herbicidal Warfare Program titled Operation Ranch Hand, which used a very known Defoliant (A chemical that can be used to remove plants or leaves from trees or terminate any growing life from ground) and Herbicidal (Herb- meaning plant life hence herbs, and cidal-defined as killing or exterminating), this very toxic chemical had prime function for removing the tall grass where the opposing soldiers could be hiding to counter-attack the U.S soldiers. The usage of Agent Orange Had alternate affect, not only did the crops that were being used die, but any other person to inhale the chemical or even make contact had devastating, life long, and even life threating effects which, rendered many Many people weak and unable to do basic human functions to even Heart failures. The side effects from agent orange were all depended on how much of the chemical made contact to the subject, can either be one or both physical or via inhalation.

  1. I've actually heard about agent orange before and I watched a video about it. It is very sad to see the aftermath of what this horrible chemical did to Vietnam territories. The video I watched briefly talked about what agent orange was and it showed how the chemical is still existing in the land and it causes many kids to be born with defects. It is nice to see someone write about this because many people don't know much about this topic.
